LIC AAO/ AE Notification released!
The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released LIC AAO/AE recruitment notification. A total of 218 vacancies are released for the post of Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO), Assistant Engineer & Assistant Architect. All the candidates can apply online from February 25 and the last date to submit the online application & fee payment is March 15, 2020. All the interested candidates can apply online for the posts as per the schedule.

The Online Application of LIC AAO/ AE/ AA 2020 has commenced from February 25, 2020.
Candidates can apply online on or before March 15, 2020. The steps to apply online for LIC AAO/ AE posts are as follows:
1. Go to the Official Website of LIC: www.licindia.com
2. Scroll down and select “Careers” from the footer section located on the lower side of the web page. You will be redirected to a new page.
3. From the Box titled “Job Description”, Select the option “Recruitment of Assistant Engineers/ AA/ AAO (Specialist) 2020”.
4. In the new page, select the link which says “Apply Online”
6. From the top section, Select “Click here for New Registration”
7. A Message will be prompted. Read all the points carefully. Click on 'Continue' after you’ve read all the points carefully.
8. Fill the application form online with all the required details and click on the button 'Save & Next'
9. Upload photo and signature in the prescribed format.
10. Make the payment and submit the application form for LIC AAO 2019.
11. Do not forget to take a printout of the online application for future use.

The officials have released separate vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineers and Assistant Administrative Officers (Specialist). A total of 50 vacancies have been released for the post of Assistant Engineers and 168 vacancies for Assistant Administrative Officers post. According to the official notification 2019, There is a 2-step selection process.
1. Phase 1 -Preliminary Examination
2. Phase 2 - Mains Examination
3. Personal Interview (Shortlisted Candidates)
4. Pre-Medical Examination (before the final appointment)
You need to qualify in the written test in order to move to the next level.
All the candidates applying for LIC AAO/ AE posts will have to first go through the eligibility criteria. If the candidate does not meet the criteria laid down by the officials, his/ her candidates will stand cancelled.
Minimum Age shall be 21 years (completed) as on 01.02.2020. The maximum age shall not be more than 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.02.1990 and not later than 01.02.1999 both days inclusive only are eligible)
Besides that, there are provisions for relaxation in the upper age limit for certain categories. The details are mentioned below.
A. For AE (Civil) - B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution. Candidate should have a minimum of three years working experience in planning and execution of multi-storied building projects with all required infrastructure.
B. For AE (Electrical) - B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution. Candidate should have a minimum of three years working experience in planning and execution of multi-storied building projects with all required infrastructure.
C. For Assistant Architect - B. Arch. from a recognized Indian University/Institution. Candidate should be registered with the Council of Architecture and possess a minimum of three years experience in designing all types of buildings with allied services. Candidate should also be well versed with green building design requirements and application of AutoCAD software and/or similar type software.
D. For AE (Structural) - M. Tech / M.E. (Structural) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/ Institution. Candidate should be well versed with the structural design of high rise building with the foundation system. He/she should be familiar with various standards of BIS pertaining to structural design and Foundation design and must be experienced in the handling of structural engineering software like ETABS, STAAD etc. Candidates applying for the post must possess minimum one-year hands-on experience in the area.
E. For AE (MEP engineers) - B. Tech./ B.E. (Mechanical/ Electrical) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution. Candidate should have a minimum of three years experience in planning and execution of Plumbing / Piping / HVAC system, Lift & Fire Fighting System, Electrical Sub-station in multi-storied buildings.
F. For AAO (Chartered Accountant) – Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have passed Final Examination of Institute of Chartered Accountant and completion of Articles as presented by Institute of Chartered Accountant. The candidate should be Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
G. For AAO (Actuarial) – Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have compulsorily passed 6 or more papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. as on the date of eligibility i.e. 1st February 2020. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
H. For AAO (Legal) - Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian University/Institution. Three years of Bar experience is essential.
I. For AAO (Rajbhasha) - Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level (OR) Post Graduate Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level (OR) Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.
J. For AAO (IT)- Graduation degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT or Electronics), or MCA or MSC (Computer Science) from a recognized Indian University/ Institution.
