first time instituted national awards in

order to recognise the efforts and

encourage excellence in the field of

prevention of Alcoholism and Drug abuse

and rehabilitation of its victims. Which

of the following statements in relation to

the same are true?
I. The awards shall be conferred on the

awardees in a function to be held in New

Delhi on the 26 June every year, which has

been declared as the International Day

against Drug Abuse and Illicit

Trafficking.
II. The Awards are open to all Indian

Institutions, Organisations including Gram

Panchayats and Individuals without any

distinction or discrimination on grounds

of religion, race, sex, caste or creed.
III. Under the provisions of the awards,

the person who has done outstanding work

in the field of awareness generation or

de-addiction or rehabilitation will be

recognized and will not be recognized.
IV. This is the plan of Union Ministry of

Social Justice and Empowerment.
