Railway boards normally divided into 21 Railways Boards conducts recruitment for various posts under Category D every year. The Group D recruitment is done by Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) at the divisional level. Some of the posts in this group are the Gunman, Safaiwala, Trackman, peon, tracker and others.
Railway Recruitment Cell 2016 released numerous vacancies for Group C and Group D posts every year. Group D recruitment is concerned with posts like Gunman, Safaiwala, Trackman, peon, tracker and Others. This vacancies is issued by every RRB individually as per the requirement.
Aspirants with Matriculation/12th/ are eligible for this post. In some cases like Track man and gangman ITI Diploma with apprenticeship Experience is desirable.
Candidates between 21- 30 years of age are eligible to apply for the job.
Candidate should be a citizen of India.
The selection procedure consist of a single combined Test of Objective Questions followed by Document verification.
The pattern is objective. The total time allotted for completing the entire written examination is 2 hours and the total marks are 200.
