The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has officially released the Phase 2 exam call letters for the post of Grade B Officers. The candidates who successfully cracked RBI Grade B Phase-I Exam can now download RBI Grade B Admit Card 2018 for Phase-II. The Written Examination for RBI Grade B Phase-II will be held on September 15, 2018. RBI Grade B Exams Re-Scheduled: Check Official Notice
The RBI Services Board conducted the Phase –I / Paper-1 of examination for recruitment of Gr B officers on 16th August 2018 at various examination centres in cities across the country. Due to the widespread floods in the State of Kerala, attendance in some of the centres in Kerala was low. The Board has been receiving representations from aspirants requesting for an opportunity to appear at the examination in light of the conditions in the State. Candidates who have already appeared in the examination held on 16th August will not be eligible to appear in this examination.

The age criteria for all candidates is as follows:
Candidates applying for RBI Grade B examination should be under the age group of 21 to 30 years. on the 1st of July, 2018 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 1997. For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D.
qualification, the upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively. This is in case if you are applying under general category only. For other categories, there is certain age relaxation.

RBI Grade B Officer Interview Process
Candidates who have good aggregate marks in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III of Phase II exam will be shortlisted for the interview. The interview process will carry 50 marks.
Any recruited RBI Grade B officer will firstly undergo a training session of 15 days. Thereafter, he/she will be kept on probation for next 2 years. On successful completion of probationary period, candidates will be allotted to various departments. Financial Markets, Banking Supervision, Banking Regulation, Currency Issuing, Public Debt Office, Foreign Exchange, HRD etc are a few such departments.
All aspirants should be aware that work profile will differ on the basis of the department wherein they are placed. At the same time, they should also note that they would be moved into another department after a certain period of time. RBI Grade B officers are majorly involved in planning and policy decision making for Reserve Bank of India(RBI).
Candidates recruited as RBI Grade B Officers receive a chance to scale up to the post of Deputy Directors. Any officer seeking promotion to his/her next possible position should appear and clear the promotion exam.

I am in the final year of graduation. Am I eligible for this exam?
Answer: No you are not eligible.
I have scored 59.5% marks in graduation. Am I eligible for RBI Assistant/Officer?
Answer: As per the official notification, there is no such mention of any percentage requirement. You just need to fill out the percentage obtained in graduation nearest two decimals in the online application. In case your college/university awards CGPA/ OGPA, the same should be converted into percentage and indicated in online application. If called for interview, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating that the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms.
What is the Application fee for RBI Assiatant/Officer exam?
Answer: The Application fee is Rs. 850 (for General Candidates) for Officer and Rs. 450 for Assistant.
How many times can I appear for this exam?
Answer: Students can have 6 number of attempts in RBI Officer exam. However, there is no chance limit in Assistant exam.
I completed my degree through distance education. Am I eligible?
Answer: Yes.Candidates who have completed graduation through correspondence/ part –time/ open university /distance education may also apply.
Where to pay application fees?
Answer: The registration fees must be paid through online mode, via Debit/ Credit card/ Netbanking only. The payment option is integrated along with the application form. So once you complete filling the personal details, proceed to pay the fees. Remember to take a print of the ereceipt on successful completion of transaction.
Can I pay the fees at RBI branches?
Answer: Not required. There is no facility to pay the fees at RBI branches. All applicants should compulsorily remit the fees only through online payment.
Will I receive registration no. & password by Email/ SMS?
Answer: After entering your personal details, an email/ SMS containing your registration number & password will be sent. Candidates are advised to save or write it in a place that you won't forget. These details are required to download your call letter & view results as there is no facility to recover your registration number if you lose it.
I submitted the application with a mistake. Can I modify it or register again?
Answer: Once you submit the application, it is not possible to edit any details thereafter. But you can submit a new application with correct information by paying the registration fees again.
I only know to speak the local language of my state but don’t know to read or write. Can i still apply?
