Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC exam Calendar. SSC CPO 2020 Paper 1 exam is scheduled from November 23 to 26, 2020. Whereas, the SSC CPO 2020 Paper 2 exam is scheduled for July 12, 2021.
The SSC CPO 2019 Paper 2 exam is scheduled on March 26, 2021.

Staff Selection Commission has revised the SSC CPO exam dates. The Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and CAPFs Examination (Paper-I), 2020 will be conducted from November 23 to 26, 2020. Whereas, for Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police Examination, 2020 will be conducted from November 27 to 30, December 1 to 3, 7 to 11 and 14, 2020.

SSC CPO Tier 1 admit card is going to release soon. The SSC CPO Tier 1 exam is scheduled from December 9 to 13. The SSC CPO admit card is expected to release 10 to 15 days before the examination.
Candidates can visit the official website - ssc.nic.in to download their SSC CPO admit card Tier 1 once released by officials.

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Paper-I & Paper-II of the examination only. Physical endurance test will not carry any marks but will be of qualifying/elimination nature. All the candidates who qualify in the PET will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central/ State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary. This means that the aspirants will get the selection by the following process:

The eligibility criteria for SSC CPO 2020 Examination has been clearly specified in the Exam Notification published by Staff Selection Commission recently. Each SSC aspirant must go through all the important details before applying online.
The age limit set for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF is 20-25 years. The candidate born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2001 will be eligible.
Candidate should note that the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate only, will be accepted by the Commission for determining the Age eligibility and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.

This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc. The topics are, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding, Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/pattern-folding & un-folding, Figural Pattern- folding and completion, Indexing Address matching, Date & city matching Classification of centre codes/roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/numbers coding, decoding and classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence, Other subtopics if any.
Candidates’ understanding of the Basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. his/her writing ability would be tested.
This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Menstruation, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate‘s general awareness of the environment around him/ her and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Questions in this components will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of English Language and will be based on error recognition, filling in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, comprehension etc.
Candidates appearing for Paper-I will have to appear for Computer Based Test (CBT). However, the Paper-II will be conducted in Pen and Paper mode (Written Examination).

The Paper I of SSC CPO 2018 consists of objective type questions carrying a total of 200 marks.

The mode of examination will be computer based test. The total time duration of the paper is 2 hours. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.

The post of a Sub-Inspector is considered as an executive-level post. The job profile is considered quite similar to that of an examiner or preventive officer. Hence, your responsibilities will be set depending upon the posting you get.
If you are posted in office, you have to handle paperwork related to various cases, active or pending.
If you are posted in the field, you will be working with the task force on various cases.

SSC CPO Result date will be announced later by the officials. The SSC CPO 2020 result will be released for each stage separately. The result is expected to release as a merit list. The SSC CPO merit list will consist of roll number of all the candidates who have qualified the test.
